Payment Options
We accept payment via Cash, Bank Transfer, Credit/Debit Card, Paypal, Apple Pay or Google Pay (via Square Payment Processor).
Our checkout system is fully encrypted behind a secure server. Every page on our website is protected by secure SSL certificate.
Square Payments process any card payments on our behalf. For added peace of mind, Square provides end-to-end encryption and PCI-DSS compliant payment processing.
We do NOT store any of your payment details.
None of your card information is passed to us.
Square Payments securely process any card payments. The only information we receive is your name and address to send your order to. We also collect your email address, so that we can keep you updated as to order status and alert you when order has been completed, dispatched and advise any tracking numbers.
We are not provided with any payment details of yours such as card details, etc – these are all processed by Square on our behalf. We are merely advised of payment amount, your name and order number payment is for.
Postage & Collection Options
We offer Tracked 48 Postage or Special Delivery postage for all orders – so you get tracking and insurance. The amount is calculated at checkout as depends on the size and weight of your order. However, you will be shown the exact price before committing to pay.
Please note, at present, we are only shipping within the UK.
Obviously, some of our products are fragile and despite our best packaging efforts, can be at risk during shipping – for this reason, we can also facilitate collection of purchases from our stall at the regular Detling Antiques Fair, by prior arrangement
Postal Insurance
The Tracked 48 and Special Delivery options both include insurance on shipping, along with being tracked.
Tracked 48 includes £150 insurance as standard, whilst Special Delivery offers £750 insurance.
As above, with some of our products, such insurance and shipping can be very expensive, so you can arrange collection of purchases, be this yourself or arranging own courier.
In the unlikely event of any issue with item, please drop us a line and we’ll do what we can to sort it out.
Shipping outside the United Kingdom
At present, due to shipping and insurance costs, we are currently only shipping within the UK.
If you are outside the UK, you can still purchase from The Antiques Loft, however, goods in these circumstances will be collection only from us from one of the Detling Antiques Fairs, or you are free to arrange your own courier collection / shipping from us. This is by prior arrangement only, so please contact us to arrange.
